ValoDex is a companion tool for Valorant players. This policy explains what we collect, what we deliberately never touch, and the choices you have. We keep our footprint small on purpose — most of your game data never reaches our servers at all.
When you create a ValoDex account, we store the minimum needed to sign you in and remember your preferences:
This data lives in our PostgreSQL database and is tied to your ValoDex account, which is entirely separate from your Riot account.
This is the core of how ValoDex works, so we want to be unambiguous: ValoDex never stores your Riot login, your Riot password, or your Riot game tokens on its servers.
Your Riot session lives only inside your own browser. When the app needs to display your store, inventory, rank or match history, your browser sends that session along with the request, we use it to fetch your own data directly from Riot, and we return it to you. We do not log it, persist it, or share it.
Because the session is held client-side, clearing your browser storage removes it completely. We could not hand your Riot credentials to anyone even if we were asked to — we simply do not have them.
ValoDex relies on a handful of outside services to function. Each receives only what it needs:
A showcase is a shareable card you choose to generate. When you publish one, we store only public profile data and layout settings — the snapshot of items, rank and presentation shown on the card. Showcases never contain Riot tokens or login information, and a saved showcase keeps looking the same without our servers ever re-contacting Riot. You can delete any showcase you have created at any time.
We keep your account data for as long as your ValoDex account exists. You can delete your account and the associated data at any time — doing so removes your stored email, username, password hash, settings and any showcases you created.

ValoDex is not directed at children and is intended for users old enough to hold a Valorant account under Riot's own terms. We do not knowingly collect data from children below the age required in their region; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of ValoDex after a change means you accept the updated policy.
