Every Valorant player eventually asks it: what is this collection actually worth? The game won't tell you — the collection tab has no totals, no prices, no history. But the math is knowable: every skin has a VP price, and VP has a real-money exchange rate. Here's how a proper estimate works and how to get yours in about two minutes.
The honest way to value a collection
- Price every owned skin in VP — each skin's current store price (Select 875, Deluxe 1,275, Premium 1,775, Exclusive ~2,050+, Ultra 2,475+ — plus variable prices for special editions).
- Convert VP to cash at real pack rates — VP isn't sold 1:1; the fair conversion uses what the VP would cost from actual packs (bigger packs carry bonus VP, so the best-value rate is the honest one).
- Show it in your currency — VP pricing differs by region, so a good estimate converts using your region's pack pricing, not a hardcoded USD table.
That number is replacement cost: what rebuying the collection today would cost. ValoDex computes exactly this and shows it at the top of your Inventory — connect Riot, open the tab, done. Currency is switchable in Settings.
"Worth" vs "spent" — they're different numbers
Replacement cost is almost always higher than what you actually paid:
- Battle-pass and event skins cost a fraction of their store equivalents.
- Bundles discount their contents versus buying separately.
- Night Market pickups (see how it works) can knock large chunks off Premium skins.
- Free rewards — agent contracts, drops, giveaways — cost nothing at all.
